The Traktor Team And An Epic Central Coast Weekend
Over the weekend it was the Central Coast's turn, with the WSL running their first ever pro contest at Avoca alongside the next instalment of Subway's Pro Junior Series.
With a few decent days of conditions, the final of the QS saw a close battle between our boy Ace Buchan and fellow local legend Shane Holmes. Despite a mammoth effort from Shane coming off injury, Ace's CT pedigree won the day and allowed him defend his home turf in perfect style on one of his old favourites from last year - a 5'11" x 18 5/8" x 2 5/16" Monsta 3. In the juniors, Kobie Enright tore apart the smaller but rippable surf on her new HYFI to make it a double victory for the Traktors. With Forster and Newcastle up next and the Gold Coast already pumping a month out from the start of the CT, it's going to be one hell of an Aussie season!
