Owen, under the ledge on one of the heaviest barrels of opening day. From the yellow jersey to the classic no-grab tube stance, this shot is a great marker of where O's at right now - right back in his element. Photo Trevor Moran. Read More

WA's been firing since the CT rolled into town, and the Traktor Team's thrown themselves into everything that's come their way. From huge walls at Main Break, to mutant slabs at The Box, and a few crazy ramps at North Point, there's a whole lot of variety popping up around Margaret River. And the best part? We should see almost all of it come into play throughout the contest. Full gallery and board breakdowns below:

The final day we were all hoping for but didn't dare dream could actually happen! Incredibly well deserving champions Owen Wright and Stephanie Gilmore, plus amazing runner-up performances from Wilko and Lakey. Photo Trevor Moran.

Fred's first ever CT event as a member of the top 34 is just around the corner, and the big fella's settling in just fine. At 6'1" / 81kg, he rides a 6'0" x 19" x 2 7/16" x 28.5L Monsta 6. Photo Trevor Moran
Manly's been a mix of running rip bowls and super fun A-frames all week for the Australian Open, and so far Julian owns the performance of the event thanks to this ridiculous alley oop to air rev combination. Jules' home on the Sunshine Coast sees pretty similar surf for most of the year, along with 100s of other towns around the world, and because of this, his Air 17 is built for exactly these conditions. Average to decent/punchy beachbreaks, and high performance surfing. Board breakdown, below (he's 6'0" / 80kg): AIR 17 - 6'0 1/2" x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 28.2L

Julian's thrown down a handful of the best video parts in the world over the last few years, but this one might just be his best yet. From all-time Cloudbreak to perfect Keramas and some ridiculous performances at home on the Sunshine Coast, Wayward is an absolute masterpiece that we still can't quite wrap our heads around.
