Being one of the most versatile surfers in the world, Julian knows exactly the type of equipment he needs everywhere he goes around the world. From his Air 17s and other shortboards in Europe, to the latest quiver of step ups and guns he's taking to Hawaii, there's a lot of variety there. But for fun, smaller surf - whether it's at home on the Sunshine Coast, Sydney or California - the new benchmark we've worked on with Jules is the Air 17X.

After choosing his favourites from a bunch of recent R&D, our most high performance X Series model is ready to take your absolute best surfing to an even wider range of small to average, fun waves. Board details, below (he's 6'0" / 80kg):
