Julian Wilson On Fire

During his last heat at Bells he looked super sharp in the Bowl on an old favourite from JBay - a 6'0 1/2" x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8" shortboard that was one of his absolute favourite prototypes used in the design of the new Monsta 6. In WA, he's been using a bit of extra length, choosing a 6'2" Forget Me Not to dominate his first round heat with the highest heat total of the event so far. As we saw last year, the extra canvas to work with at Margaret River suits Julian's naturally strong, drawn out lines, especially on boards with a longer rail line.
