Stab & Oakley's Nu Church of Surf

In 2016, you'd be hard pressed to find two supremely talented surfers better suited than Julian Wilson and Kai Lenny to tackle a concept shoot like this. Nu Church of Surf is Stab and Oakley's joint venture set out to demonstrate how wonderfully eclectic surfing has become, while giving us all a sneak peek at what's likely just over the horizon. And we reckon they've absolutely nailed it. Full board dims, below: For a lot of the year, Bali's all about setting new benchmarks in performance. Jules runs his Air 17 and the Monsta 6 in a massive variety of waves, both at 6'0 1/2" x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 28L. Photo Nate Lawrence When he's not experimenting with hydrofoils or dropping into 30 foot Jaws on a SUP, these are Kai's sleds for average to pumping surf - an Air 17, Monsta 6 and Forget Me Not, all 5'9" x 18 5/8" x 2 1/4" x approx. 25L (a fraction less in the FMN, and a touch over in the Air 17).
