Owen's got plenty of options for the smaller days at Saquarema in his Monsta 6's (both HYFI and PU), but with good, clean conditions on offer, he's been dominating with the extra drive and hold of his Forget Me Not! At 6'3" / 76kg, he rides a FMN round tail 6'3" x 19" x 2 3/8" x 29.3L. Clip Peter King Read More

Saquarema's mixed bag has been on full display for the start of the Brazil CT leg, with everything from peeling lefts to wedgey rights throwing up sections for turns, airs, and even the odd barrel (for Parko, especially). Having so much variety on offer and a fun-sized, consistent swell, the Traktor Team's equipment is all about high performance, and the first few days have delivered in spades. Manly's been a mix of running rip bowls and super fun A-frames all week for the Australian Open, and so far Julian owns the performance of the event thanks to this ridiculous alley oop to air rev combination. Jules' home on the Sunshine Coast sees pretty similar surf for most of the year, along with 100s of other towns around the world, and because of this, his Air 17 is built for exactly these conditions. Average to decent/punchy beachbreaks, and high performance surfing. Board breakdown, below (he's 6'0" / 80kg): AIR 17 - 6'0 1/2" x 18 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 28.2L

Julian's thrown down a handful of the best video parts in the world over the last few years, but this one might just be his best yet. From all-time Cloudbreak to perfect Keramas and some ridiculous performances at home on the Sunshine Coast, Wayward is an absolute masterpiece that we still can't quite wrap our heads around.

Almost that time of year again! Jules always goes pink with his Quik Pro Gold Coast quiver as a part of his support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, with art either by his talented mum Nola, or our resident sprayer Adrian Turner (above).
Exactly six weeks from now the WSL's 2017 CT circus kicks off on the Gold Coast, and the Traktor Team are all starting to dial in boards for whatever Snapper might throw at them for the season opener! Read More

Spring shorey fun with J-Dub and the Board of the Year! Photo Grant Sproule
This time of year on the east coast normally comes with weeks of northerlies and barely any swell, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun if you have the right board! While Jules was passing through Newcastle he grabbed a stock HYFI Blak Box 2 right off the rack at Sanbah, and subsequently blew up on the thing in typical springtime slop all over town. At 6'0" / 80kg, he rides a 5'9" x 19 5/8" x 2 3/8" x 28.3L. Read More

From the south-west of France to Peniche, the European leg of the CT throws up a whole lot of variety. Whether it's the biggest and best beachbreak tubes you'll see all year, to perfect runners and ramps, or a tricky onshore mixed-bag, you'll almost certainly see a good portion of the waves all of us surf for a good chunk of the year! Even though 2016's edition of the Quiksilver Pro saw a lot more of the latter, the team have already found a few favourite boards that we're likely to see a lot more of in Portugal. J-Dub throwing the fins over a damn fine piece of French sand. Photo Ryan Miller Last year France offered up everything from rippable rights to heaving tubes for the Quik Pro, and the forecast for 2016's edition is starting to shape up even better!
